One of the most amazing stories is that of an outstanding student who has graduated from university with first-class honours. Her name is Nguyen Thuy Ngan Hoang. She‘s always been a smart student, always scoring among the top of her class in spite of her family humble background and tight budget. She never failed to get a SF scholarship during her schooling years and was admitted to Dalat University, majoring in Mathematics & Informatics. With an eager interest in learning, she actively participates in research and maintains a positive, professional relationship with her lecturers and
peers. After graduating with an exceptionally brilliant thesis that opens up to further mathematical research, she has been recognized by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, USA who granted her a fellowship to do her PhD studies in Mathematical Statistics and a position as graduate assistant in the same university. That is a remarkable remuneration to her
continuous effort and passion to master her field of studies and also a live lesson of endeavour and courage to all her peers and younger students: When there is a will, there is a way.
We are proud of her achievements, which is indeed an expressive return to our non-stopping effort to sustain the charity foundation and to help the disadvantaged children restore their confidence, giving them a better chance to change the course of their lives.
A recent update of LaFayette PHD student shows that she got her Master degree of Statistics in May 2018 and is preparing her notes to stand as official lecturer of Applied College Algebra and Elementary Statistics this autumn, an outstanding achievement as an international student in Louisiana, USA.
